Terms of Use

Controvertist is a research and examination tool. It produces analytical material — examinations, perspectives, evidence summaries, implications and experimental observations — in response to questions and material you submit.

The Service is provided for informational and intellectual purposes only. You are responsible for how you use it.

Controvertist uses automated systems, including AI models operated by third-party providers, to generate outputs. Outputs are probabilistic. They may be incomplete, outdated, mistaken, or internally inconsistent, and they may misstate facts, sources or figures.

Outputs are not verified statements of fact. You should independently verify anything you intend to rely on.

Examinations may reference public sources, retrieved data and material you upload. The inclusion of a source does not constitute endorsement or confirmation of its accuracy, and Controvertist does not warrant that any examination is exhaustive.

Some features frame material in investment terms. Nothing produced by the Service is, or should be treated as, investment, financial, legal, medical, psychological, tax, accounting or any other form of professional advice. No output is a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security or asset, and Controvertist is not a broker, adviser, or fiduciary of any kind.

All decisions you make — financial, personal, professional or otherwise — are yours alone. Seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.

QMM is an experimental interpretive feature. QMM generates an independent three-state configuration and uses automated interpretation to examine how that configuration intersects with a question you submit.

QMM outputs:

• are experimental and interpretive;
• do not guarantee or predict future outcomes;
• do not establish unknown facts;
• are not professional advice of any kind;
• should not be the sole basis for any consequential decision.

The name “Quantum Matrix Method” and the QMM interface are descriptive of an experimental method. They do not represent a claim that QMM uses a real quantum computer, conventional quantum computation, or a scientifically validated method of forecasting future events.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity carried out under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared.

You retain ownership of the questions, text and documents you submit. You grant Controvertist a limited licence to process, store and transmit that material — including to the third-party providers used to operate the Service — solely to provide the Service to you.

You confirm that you have the right to submit any material you upload, and that doing so does not violate confidentiality obligations, privacy rights or applicable law.

The Service — including its software, interface, design, method descriptions, prompts and branding — belongs to Controvertist and is protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or create derivative products from the Service.

Subject to these terms, you may use the outputs generated for your own account, including for internal and professional purposes.

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully, or to produce unlawful or harmful material;
• submit material you are not permitted to disclose;
• attempt to bypass access controls, quotas, payment or authentication;
• scrape, automate or overload the Service beyond normal individual use;
• present outputs as verified professional advice, or as the work of a licensed professional.

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, degrade or be withdrawn, and processing may fail or be delayed. Controvertist does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or any particular processing time.

Paid features are digital services delivered immediately on purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider; Controvertist does not store your full card details. Prices are stated in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply.

Controvertist Pro is offered at $99 per month or $799 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, until cancelled.

You may cancel at any time from your profile. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Except where required by law, payments already made for a started billing period are not refunded on cancellation.

For users without an active Pro subscription, QMM is $3 per individual configuration. A one-time QMM payment purchases one QMM generation. QMM is included with an active Controvertist Pro subscription.

If a QMM payment succeeds but generation fails because of a technical error and no usable result is delivered, your paid entitlement is retained so you can retry without being charged again, or you may contact us for another appropriate remedy.

Because outputs are interpretive and generated on demand, dissatisfaction with the content, tone or conclusions of an output is not by itself grounds for a refund. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Controvertist will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, investment losses, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any output.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Controvertist may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued provision is not reasonably possible. Where paid access is terminated without cause, any unused prepaid amount will be handled fairly.

These terms may be updated as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply where they cannot be overridden by agreement.
